Why do people not like burlesque?
hmn, good question. I am no expert. But as an ardent observer and purveyor of all things non-pop. Those people who don’t like Burlesque don’t for a couple of different reasons; 1. Burlesque offends their moral sensibility (certain Religious/Moral values) 2. Burlesque is not popular enough to be considered worthwhile, and therefore promptly dismissed as such. 3. Burlesque could seem an outdated/antiquated form of entertainment. Just some ideas, these may apply to some people, and may not. By no means are these three exhaustive.
