Why do people make computer virus?
Yes, all viruses are created by people. They don’t occur naturally like viruses in the real world. However, many people write them because they enjoy the challenge involved and forget that it will harm other people. Other people write them to show up the mistakes made by big software companies. Sometimes people write them just to prove that something needs to be fixed and never even release them to real world. Others still use the virus to create large networks of computers which they have control over, commonly called ‘bot nets’. They can use this network to send spam, steal personal information from your computer, black mail websites by threatening to attack them with this large network, and many other things. There are all sorts of reasons for writing viruses, which can include greed.
