Why do people listen to a particular type of music?
Yes, I have asked myself that question many times not only to other people but to myself as well. I have developed a very sound theory that will resonate with many readers: Consistent with the above answer, that people listen to music that fit their emotional state (i.e. mood), it seems that people actually listen to music that evokes an emotion that they desire to emote, or feel.
