Why do people have such a stupid attitude to animal testing?
There has recently been a growth in evidence which points to the fact that animal testing, even for medical purposes, may not be sufficient to prove that products are safe of effective for human use; which is why they all go through a period of clinical trials. The problem with making an informed stance on the issue is that both sides put out information which supports their cause. If animal testing has medical benefits then it is a valid practice, I’m just not sure now that this is a fact.
