Why do People hate emo/scene kids so much?!?
I dislike the whole “I’m nonconforming but I’m dressed the same as him/her” thing. Be individual! Listen to the music you like and wear the clothes you want to wear! Most people wouldn’t fit into particular cliques if they did that. I’m pretty individual, I don’t fit into any clique and I’m happy that way. I have friends who have equally varied styles and musical preferences. We don’t point out that we’re individual (we’re probably not. I’d be willing to guess there are several out, musical loving, Rufus obsessed, purple adoring teenage girls out there). But I don’t try to fit in with groups, especially pretending I don’t when I secretly do. That’s pretty much why I dislike emos. Not because of their music (although I don’t like it), but they pretend not to conform. And then look at a gang of emos. The majority of them will be dressed the same. That is not what I call individuality!
