Why do people get addicted to gambling?
the “natural” high that your body creates chemically that causes you to keep going back I suppose. That or the free drinks. I think half of all people addicted to gambling are also addicted to something else. I think by and large, that they would addicted to one thing or another if it weren’t gambling and that as a society we condemn certain “societal vices.” For instance, if someone were addicted to keeping their house clean, nobody cares. If they are addicted to smoking cigarettes, we villify them. Last I checked folks, household cleaners and ciggs have a lot in common by way of toxic gasses being released.
