Why do people from Morocco immigrate to Spain?
You should ask why people gamble to bankrupt too… Most of those who attempt crossing to Spain gambling their lives are rural young men with no adequate education or professional training. All they can look for is working in the fields in Andalusia. Even as illegals, exploited, living in miserable conditions and underpaid, there is no comparison between what they can earn in Morocco and Spain, and with that, back home, they could marry , buy a field or a shop.. in short better their condition and their families condition. Put like that, it might seem worth gambling your life… that’s the spirit that built America and Australia, it’s only human. Obviously, they are wrong, the risk doesn’t worth a life and leaving your family in debt, because the smugglers price is a little fortune for these poor people…
