Why do people do illegal drugs?
to hide from their lives instead of finding a new and good life to live. Very sad. ( and what Amanda said. ) One of my cousins was recently in a traffic accident caused by a man who is addicted to oxycontin. He is losing his house, his job, his car is gone, he had no insurance and he is not sorry and was angry that she would not sign a document (proferred to her by the county where the accident occurred) which would allow him to drive again. His whole life on paper slowly shows his bad choices escalating over a period of many years to the point where he injured someone seriously and is not sorry and is angry with her and told her he is considering suing her in court to force her to sign the document. He cannot do it of course as that is not going to be heard in any court, but the very fact he is so lost to reality because he thinks drugs are fun and good means his life is over unless he can quit the drugs.
