Why do people believe in witches?
First off the whole do’s and don’ts in the above post is bollocks. Witches ‘don’t do evil’?? Don’t talk such garbage… I personally practise old paganism and have no qualms about performing what you would consider black magic or evil.. Just because ‘wiccans’ have problems against it does not stand up for all of us. Anyway, back to the question at hand. People believe in it because it is a religion. It is no more to say “I believe in witches” than to say one believes in Christians. Witches are called witches because we practise witchcraft, just as Christians practise Christianity, Muslims their own and so on and so forth. Like anything, it is a faith, a practise in life. People can say “Oh my god.. Witches are bullshit, it’s all fake, magick isn’t real!” all they want. But there are people out there saying the same thing about what they believe in (or don’t believe in as the case is for Atheists).
