Myself personally i started to work as a civilian control room operator and i wanted to improve my skills in my civy job having a understanding on how things work on the ground, i also worked as a volunteer support worker for victim support before hand and found i liked supporting victims of crime and alot of the victims most common complaint was how little support or contact they had with the police after police attended the incidents and how they were also left not really understanding what was going to happen next after they were seen by police….even if its for a few people i try to give a positive experience to the victims of the police when i deal with them as a special even if its a small drop in the ocean by what i do if i can leave most people feeling positive about the service they receive from myself then i am happy with this, i also special to improve my creditials before i return to New Zealand in a few years time and join up full time out there..i try to get involved and
