Why do people ask for scientific proof of creationism?
Just in case you’re being serious, I’ll actually respond. The reason so many Christians are being asked for evidence behind concepts in the Bible is because they are pushing these beliefs onto others. If you don’t believe in evolution & instead believe that God did the whole Adam & Eve thing then most Atheists don’t care. However, when Christians start pushing for changes in school so that evolution is no longer taught or wish to push the concept that there is no scientific basis behind evolution then there’s a problem. Now you’re taking your beliefs & trying to convert others. Whenever you try to do something like this, isn’t it realistic for those who you’re trying to influence to want something tangible as justification????? Also, theory in science does not mean it’s a belief with no merit. Gravity is defined by theory. Your question is confusing, but I am sort of with you. It does not make sense to ask for scientific evidence of something which is completely unscientific. When they start calling it ‘intelligent design’, and claim it is science, however, people are perfectly justified in asking for scientific evidence.
