their arguments are based off ignorance of the scientific process and an inability to examine evidence objectively. things like “why are there still monkeys” and “no NEW lifeforms” are fleeting attempts to stump people with irrelevant questions (google red herring and strawman arguments for more on how these world) the “logic” behind this is, if they can’t answer your questions they don’t know anything… of course if you ask “if evolution is real, why is there pie and cake in the work” of COURSE no one is going to have an answer for that… as an aside, because creationists (who are the *vast* majority of people why deny that evolution occurs) fail to understand how science works i that if we have a model to go on (evolution) and you think it’s faulty, you can’t merely point out the current theory’s flaw, you must formulate another theory that better/more parsimoniously/or explains more evidence… citing creationism as a valid substitute for evolution in this regard is, frankly, reta
