Why do people always have to bring up animal rights groups at the damndest times?

I’m not even a zealot yet I don’t understand why you have to play that card. 50,000 dogs were just clubbed to death in China because of a rabies scare and animals are skinned alive there every day for fur. You don’t even want to know what’s going on in border towns of Mexico. I would think a person who cares so much about alleviating pain and suffering in humans with legal marijuana would have some compassion for what animal rights people are doing in the world. Pick on someone who’s truly doing damage starting with your own president. Don’t pick on Heather Mills for Christ’s sake. Pick on Nancy Grace if you must…yes, her fiancee was murdered 25 years ago or something. She’s still scary and she does have some trauma and a big flashy agenda. And now she’s a millionaire and people watch her show every night. I wish we animal rights people had our own TV show! Permalink Tuesday, August 29, 2006 02:52 PM Where was the gravitas?
