Why do people always blame certain dog breeds (pittbulls,staffys,pig dogs, etc..) for child attacks??
Because people are ignorant. The media blows everything out of proportion, not to mention blames bully breeds for everything, even when the dog who attacked was clearly NOT a bully breed. Then you have the fact that the dogs who attack kids( no matter what breed they are) are completely blamed for their bad acts, when it is in fact the fault of their owners, and the childs PARENTS for not supervising their children. I would be willing to bet that 99% of the people who report “pitbull” bites, wouldnt be able to pick the pit from http://www.pitbullsontheweb.
