Why do peeps say “Im a vegetarian, but i eat chicken?”?
Ignorance or stupidity (they’ve fallen – hook, line and sinker – for the myth that vegetarians eat fish, and are too ignorant to check it out) Laziness (the fish-eating ones are too lazy to say “I’m a pescatarian” because then they would need to explain what that means for the second or third time that week, so they just say “I’m a vegetarian, but I eat fish” hoping that the ignorant people accept that at face value) Sheer bloodymindedness (they know very well that they’re doing something wrong by calling themselves vegetarians, but they don’t care – they’re still going to carry on doing it, no matter how many times you correct them) Mischievousness or sabotage (they’re out to undermine the true vegetarians by making them look stupid, by pretending to be “vegetarians”)
