Why do parents not let their kids date?
I know you will probably not like this answer, but the reason is, most kids your age do not understand the true problems related to dating. Here’s the thing, most kids do not “DATE”. They get into relationships that are comittment in nature. You should not be comitted to one person at your age. When you are comitted it is the same as being married without the license. And a lot of boys expect things when they are in a relationship like that. All of these things become distractions that can impact what you should really be focusing on; friendships, school work and preparing for your future. Most kids do not realize it, but making the wrong decisions early in life can be the difference betweek having a wonderful fullfilling life or being on welfare and struggling until they day you die. That is why most parents do not like their kids to date. I will admit, sometimes the parents just want to maintain complete control of their kids and do not want them to grow up.
