Why do parents choose formula for babies of the same brand and never change.?

Yes, I think parents don’t like to risk it when it comes to babies. I didn’t, though. I’ve given my baby Enfamil Lipil, Similac Advance, Target brand, Parent’s Choice, even soy formula. Basically I’ve given her anything I could get free samples of and my baby has always been fine. I primarily breastfeed her though. The little formula I used was when mixing it up with her cereal or when leaving her with the occasional sitter (I hate to pump). I think the sticking with a brand name is parents being overly anxious. Yes, there are those babies that are allergic to particular formulas (e.g. milk-based versus soy), but most babies can handle changes in brand names within the same type of formula.
