Silverstein Spill The Beans On Their Joke Band… Sort of. Most of you already know that SILVERSTEIN are busy putting the final touches on their next full-length A Shipwreck In The Sand–however, you probably didn’t know that when they aren’t perfecting their unique brand of screamo, they’re goofing around with their side project PARASITIC TWINS. AP recently caught up with Silverstein bassist BILL HAMILTON to find out if you’ll be able to hear Parasitic Twins songs like “Entombed Or Cyanide Chrysalis” live anytime soon. What’s the deal with Parasitic Twins? Basically, [Silverstein drummer] Paul [Koehler] kind of has this joke band with a bunch of our friends; there’s a recording of one song– Neil [Boshart, guitar] sings on it and our guitar tech Kevin sings on it. There have also been a couple of shows where Silverstein have been playing and that band will end up playing a song with all of our friends.
