Why do Orthodox Jewish women wear wigs?
Orthodox Jewish women wear wigs after marriage. Some shave their heads and wear headscarves or other just use the wigs to cover their hair. They believe in modesty. They think hair is very arousing. Since the Orthodox Jews not believe in wasting seed, G-d forbid a man should see a grown woman with beautiful hair and have an orgasm. Same goes for the covering of knees, elbows, breasts, legs, and the collarbone.
