In the same way they will walk to the frount of a queue regardless of how long everyone else has been stood there, (some) old people believe you owe them. Now, before you all immediately jump on my comment above we need to put things into prospective. I will give up my seat, place, money, etc to anyone who was involved in the last wars, they are incredible men and women BUT some older people who are around now were teenagers and did absolutely nothing. There is also a section of those who were around in the second world war who also did nothing, and i have a fair idea what section of the ‘public’ they are. I truely believe that those who took up arms for our freedom are those who are decent people, they will have through the services, understand respect in every direction and would never look down or demand special treatment, in many cases the exact opposite.
