Why do Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill and not draw from the credit the deserve?
People are so quick to dive to the conclusion that it was adjectives about the saloon with Mansell and Hill. If that’s the shield, why didn’t Williams employ complete nobodys to cut down on the wages bill? It would variety economic sense, especially since F1 is more of a business than a sport. And it’s not as if the Benettons be slow. Nobody has ever grab a car by the scruff of the collar and charged as hard as Mansell when he be on one. Nobody. And just look at his results within Masters GP. Damon Hill fended off the (apparently mighty) Schumacher despite the German’s usual underhanded campaign, Hakkinen (the only driver Schumacher feared) and Villeneuve when he be on form, and easily a worthy opposition for all of the above. The best motor doesn’t mean your going to win. And if it did, look at Barrichello, Coulthard, and Patrese. It’s talent that win. And both Mansell and Hill had it contained by abundance.
