Why do Muslims hate Jews when most of the Muslim prophets and famous leaders were Jews?
Here is a simple explaination: The Jewish religion believes that their Messiah has not come yet, so yes, Jesus was a Jew, but they didnt come up with a term (like christianity, or Muslim) to define a religion that believed that their Messiah has come.. Muslims and Jews often fight because while Muslims say, “our prophet Muhammad has come” Jews are saying, “no way, no prophet has come yet, you guys are wrong” just as christianity also says, “no, Jesus is the prophet we have been waiting for, you both are wrong” So Jews in the old testament are Jews, and if they were alive while Muhammad was born, and believed he was the prophet, then today they are literally called Muslim, but they didnt have a term for it back then… Those who remained non-believers that Muhammad was the prophet remain Jewish.
