Why do most Korean/Japanese MALE celebrities look like pretty little girls?
Great question. It’s very understandable and it doesn’t surprise me at all that someone who is not familiar with the culture would wonder why, cause I sometimes wonder this myself. Like one of the other answerers said, it’s just a difference in culture. Personally, I don’t really find this type attractive (and I’m Korean), and it’s not that all Korean people are into these type of faces, but they have become extremely popular in the last 2-3 years. The guy in the picture you provided, Lee Junki, can be given credit for a lot of this hype. He really started this craze. He’s like the ultimate “꽃미남” or “Flower boy”.. (That’s the literal translation… Basically means, “Pretty boy”…Literally) But I find that a lot of the younger generations really go for this type… Other examples… (This is a less feminine picture of each of them, believe it or not) http://www.londonkoreanl
