According to Fireball, Christian churces do not tithe. But alas, sweetheart, they do. I’m a Jewish convert and I am tithed to my temple. My mother is Methodist (Christian) and she is tithed to her church. So essentially, the question is correct in assumption. Other than that, I have no answer.
