One of the primary reasons that Kids Help Phone receives more calls and online posts from girls than boys, is that girls tend to be more open to talking about their problems and feelings than boys are. Boys are accessing our services, and while they may not connect one-on-one with a counsellor as often as girls do, they’re making use of our Topic Library and that they’re reading and learning from the questions and counselling responses posted in the “Ask a Counsellor” section of our website.
