Why do men spread their legs…?
I believe men typically spread their legs when sitting down to show they are dominant. Women are usually perceived as sitting the complete opposite- legs crossed and polite. The posture of sitting relaxed with your legs spread shows you are more careless about how your body is displayed and that you are being open. I believe that men who do this in shorts just want to show you their stuff…haha. I have also heard it is more comfortable for men to sit this way- so it could just be the comfort issue for many men. I am a woman and I do not care too much about how men sit. If they are at least sitting up straight with their legs spread in public, then it is fine. But is they are all slouched down with their legs spread it shows that they aren’t very interested in what is going on and seems rude to me…
