Why do men like high heels on women?
Guys who don’t like heels on women must mix in different circles to me, but then I don’t generally sit in front of a computer screen answering blogs. When I and my work colleagues (I’m a University Senior Lecturer in Business Studies) are engaged in conversation, the conversation starts to falter at the approaching sound of high-heels and all the guys who are not talking start to look around whilst the one talking starts losing the thread and repeating himself! Men of my acquaintance notice heels; we can’t help it, -the noise making devices demand attention with their “hey guys, -get a load of me” message of the wearer. I don’t buy the idea that the majority of guys like women vulnerable and hobbled and in pain idea either, – real men don’t need a woman to be helpless in order to bolster their masculine ego! When I was working in the City (London’s Wall Street) we didn’t call the successful “get ahead at any price” women “Spike Heeled Power Bitches” because they were vulnerable! It was
Because they force women to move in a more sexualized manner, slowly, rotating slightly their pelvis. In layman terms, a woman in higher heels shakes her butt, sticks her chest forward and has to extend more her legs if she wants to walk at the same pace of a man or another woman in flat soles, so, she shows off more legs. In fact higher heels are almost worn with skirts or tight pants, almost never with larger pants. Then a woman in high heels has to walk slower, and in a manner that brain may perceive as risking to fall down at every step, so her body language begins launching mixing signals, mixing to the regular “Look at me, I’m a grown-up, self confident woman” the hugely _unwanted_, but perceived by men only “I’m frail, I cannot stand, are you strong enough to take care of me?”, that translates in a more wanted addition to sex appeal. Then mankind had a sudden height increase in the last century, so when heels were invented, men and women were lot less high: a woman in high heels
I keep hearing because of the legs because of the back because it highlights this and that I’m a girl and I think I could give a better answer then this sure those answers may be somewhat true but I think the real reason is “power” that’s right for a girl my mind thinks “the higher the heels the higher the power” and it’s so true and I think men know that we think that way men are taught be a tough guy real men don’t cry work on the job to pay the family bills men are the head of the house hold I’m the boss here! Men don’t go to tea party’s men don’t do this and that and men act like this and that be strong get some muscle in there come on flex!!! lol and I’m sure as time goes on men get tried of woman trying to play a mans role trying to be Miss tough taking on the husbands paycheck job being head of the household telling her man “who’s boss” and it gets old after a while man “I think” don’t like to be considered the weaker one in marriage or in a relationship and I don’t think they s
