Why do membership fees vary among state/province associations?
National dues are the same in all state/province associations. Most state associations, however, maintain a dues collection arrangement with NAEA. In these states, NAEA collects both state and national dues. Members pay a combined state/national fee. Since state associations determine their own dues portion, amounts will vary from state to state. Once a month, NAEA returns to the states the portion of the dollars collected for state dues.
