Columbus was not a jerk. He DID NOT discover America, but he did discover that the world is round. The native Americans and Gallileo discovered only one of these facts. Columbus did not sail because he was a greedy man looking gold and riches. He made the Native Americans find gold for him, and if they did not find the correct amount, he had their hands cut off. He also let many members of his crew sell 9 and 10 year old Native American girls to rape them. 9 and 10 years old! COLUMBUS DAY SHOULD STILL BE CELEBRATED!!!!!!!
