Why do many Hispanic people swim with clothes on at the beach?
Our ocean water is too cold for swimming. And it’s usually not that warm where we are. So most people go into the tide water with pants rolled up and shorts. We have yet to see Mexicans at the beach. But we have seen Ukranians in with their clothes on. But they get wet up to their knees with pants rolled up. They don’t wear bathing suits either. They are usually dressed more heavily for the season for some reason. The women wear dresses and hike their skirts and the men seem to wear jogging clothes at the beach and just roll the pants up. You see all kinds at the beaches these days.
