Why do many highschools start so early in the morning? Is it the bus schedule?

I don’t know exactly how early you are talking about but I used to hate going to school so early when I was younger too. My best guess is that they need to allow time for parents to bring their kids to school and still have time to get to their own jobs as well. Another guess is that they need time for more activities after school, such as sports, band, clubs or whatever. As much as we don’t like waking up early it’s something we need to get used to because college and regular jobs are like that too.
