Why do lots of people think that nowadays all teenagers are violent yobs?
Because it sells newspapers and keeps television viewers. Most teenagers are great and I love them because I remember what I was like at that age, but today’s society glorifies violence and brutality, small wonder some young people go along that route. Believe me,I know you are not all like the thugs who get the publicity, most of you are decent hardworking individuals. Unfortunately we seem to come up with blanket solutions that victimise the decent instead of coming down like a ton of bricks on the really bad lots among you. In a way it is ageist, because the one thing some people cannot forgive you for is being young.
