Why do links to GaleGroup InfoTrac OneFile articles sometimes fail?
A. There is a problem linking to Gale InfoTrac OneFile and Expanded Academic ASAP from the SFX menu if the words and or or appear in the first three words of the article title. Instead of a link to the article, you get the message “Sorry — InfoTrac is unable to give you the result you asked for.” One way to solve the problem is to edit the URL that appears in the browser’s address or location box at the top of the error message window to put the missing term back in as shown in the following example of an article citation from ABI/INFORM: “Overexploitation or Sustainable Management: Action Patterns of the Tropical Timber Industry, the Case of Para (Brazil), 1960-1997.” Christian Brannstrom.
