Why do librarians without permanent status, including contractual faculty, need to include a CV with their work plan?

The CV should help assure the faculty member and the PRC that he/she is on track for applying for permanent status. The PRC can use the CV to advise and mentor the faculty member in order to strengthen the case for permanent status. You may view samples of CVs by previous permanent status applicants by going to the Maryland Room in Hornbake Library, or by contacting the APPSC committee for directions as to the current location of these documents.
