Why do liberals kill unborn babies but get upset over death penalty for murderers?
what a wallop theres several reasons why the death penalty is wrong – doesnt deter murderers (US states with death penalty have higher murder rates than those which dont have it), death penalty cases are often more expensive than life sentence cases (putting to bed the cost argument), judicial system just as vulnerable to corruption as any other so no guarantee that innocent people wont get executed (over 100 people released from death row in recent decades), and you dont teach society that killing is wrong by killing people, THAT is hypocritical as for abortion, a fertilised egg is not a fully developed human being, and if you think a woman made pregnant by a violent rapist should be forced to go through the trauma of carrying his baby for 9 months then i cant agree with you
You have asked a question that will get you a lot of answers, some of these answers will surprise you. Not all liberals feel the way your question reads. Not all conservatives feel the opposite. I am a conservative. I don’t like the death penalty. I don’t like it because one of the Ten Commandments is Thou shelt not kill. It does not make exceptions. Therefore this one commandment covers not only the death penalty but abortion as well. When a young couple makes the mistake of having unprotected sex and the young woman becomes pregnant she should have the baby and either raise it herself or give it up for adoption. All young women who are having their first child should be made to go through parenting classes. If they are extremely young (under 17) I think they should have counceling sessions as well. In the cases of incest or rape, I am really torn because these women should not have to deal with this problem. I think every rape victim should be given the morning after pill, no questio
