Why do Lao and Thai cultures give their kids the most rediculous nicknames?
I do not think it is a ridiculous to give nickname if it was given by a parent. And the Thai language is much older than English.Most nicknames have meaning like Maew in Thai means Cat .So no, I don’t think at all. PS Buk Hum Noi is also have meaning small penis -for northeast people it is kind of name for small boy ,it is sincere word and Buk Hum simply to tell that is word for male.
