The unique SUWS environment, with its high level of structure, small group sizes, “cause and effect” curriculum, and emphasis on relationships and positive reinforcement makes for an ideal setting to begin building healthier coping behaviors and interpersonal skills. Our model affords much-needed structure and consistency regarding the treatment team, peer group dynamics, and provides a sense of completion.
