Why do Jehovahs Witnesses leave important things out of their literature?

We don’t. What you call “important verses” that are not in the New World Translation are not considered to be important verses by many modern Bible scholars. Many other modern translations of the Bible leave those verses out also. Why? Because it has been determined, on the basis of more ancient manuscripts, that those verses were not part of the Bible, but were added by later copyists. They are left out of the New World Translation and other Bibles because they don’t belong in the Bible in the first place. It is also untrue that we change our doctrines all the time and that we discourage people from attending any college. Those are simply misrepresentations. Many of Jehovah’s Witnesses attend college, some even teach at colleges. It is not a matter of attending college, but a matter of time management and being aware of the pitfalls of a morally permissive atmosphere. http://www.watchtower.
