Why do i wake up constantly every single night with my hands numb and have pins and needles?

I had this same thing. Seriously! I would wake up and my left hand was numb like it was asleep. If I would shake it long enough the feeling would eventually come back but it was getting worse everyday. It started in two smallest fingers but over time it was my entire hand and I was worried. Doctors only wanted to prescribe pain pills but that didn’t do much good. Eventually I met a chiropractor at the gym and he explained to me that it was because of my posture and because I carried my wallet in my rear pocket. (I’m serious) Anyway, the long and short is this. I’m not a doctor but it was some nerve being blocked in my shoulder and the chiropractor worked on my shoulder, fixed the problem and eventually it went away. OK. I’ve never really believed in or knew anything about chiropractors but I had this same problem you have described and this guy fixed it. It took about 2 months at 1 or 2 30 minute sessions a week. Hope this helps.
