Why do I sometimes get GPF (General Protection Fault) or Invalid Page Fault errors when uploading files to my Personal Home Page directory?
These types of errors are related to memory errors or leaks on your computer system. There are a couple of things to try to alleviate this problem. • Try closing any other programs that are running while you are using Netscape. • Close all programs and restart your computer. Open Netscape, open the Options menu, and select Network Preferences. Choose the Cache tab, and press the Clear Memory Cache button and the Clear Disk Cache button. Sometimes corrupted cache files cause GPF or Invalid Page Fault errors. • Check out Netscape’s GPF help document at http://help.netscape.com/kb/client/970203-1.html.
