Why do i receive the error “Undefined block XXXX” when I import a Survey Chief DXF file into AutoCAD?

AutoCAD only reads the BLOCKS section of a DXF file when the DXF is imported into a new drawing. If you are importing DXF into an existing AutoCAD drawing, all the blocks required by your symbol mapping must exist in the drawing already.
