This is a known issue with MBSA when the computer name is greater than 15 characters and a supported version of SQL Server is present on the target machine. The only workarounds available at this time are to ignore the result, use the MBSA script samples or Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Connector for MBSA 2.1 to filter out this result item, or, if using the graphical interface (GUI), deselect the option to perform “SQL administrative vulnerabilities” checks.
