Why do I only hear one string with my synth?

This is most likely due to the guitar-to-midi converter or synth being set to “Mono” mode instead of “Poly” mode. These two terms are a bit confusing as “Mono” actually means one midi channel per string and “Poly” means all six string transmit on just one channel.
