Why do I need to worry about death from prescription opioid medicine?
If you follow the directions on the prescription exactly, there is little danger from these medicines. But they can be very dangerous when taken with alcohol, illegal drugs, or certain other prescription medicines, including anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, or sleep aid medicine. They also become dangerous when you take more than the prescribed amount.
