Why do I need to use the virtual keyboard to key in Login Password and Security Code?

During login or on the TAP authorization page, your password or TAP will not be sent plainly to the server. It will be obfuscated before being sent. The obfuscated password is dynamic and unique. Therefore, if your computer is infected with a worm or virus and it manages to get hold of the obfuscated password, it will not be usable the second time. This serves to better protect your account services. Also, there exist worms/viruses which will record keyboard strokes. With this virtual keyboard, you use your mouse to key in your password or sc.
