Why do I need to register / be approved to join Earth to Edd, Edtropoliss message board?
So that we can keep an eye on who’s using it, of course! The Internet can be a strange and dangerous place and message boards are notorious places for attracting the type of idiots who like nothing better than trying to upset or provoke other people – something we can all do without. As such we want to limit posts to only those people who have signed up and given us a valid email address. Of course we always hope we won’t have problems with any of our members, but at least this way when problems do arise we can limit that member’s ability to post or even ban them altogether if the situation is severe enough.
