Why do I need to refrigerate intraMAX™?
Because intraMAX™ contains a significant amount of living organic material, you must refrigerate them to prevent oxidation. Cutting open an apple and exposing it to air will turn it brown in a matter of minutes. This is similar to the process that would occur by leaving our products exposed to air. Refrigeration slows the process of oxidation. If you open a bottle and the product is black or very dark brown, this means it has spoiled and you must dispose of it. It would also carry a pungent odor if spoiled. However, the product will turn darker in color with use which is along the same premise of cutting open an apple. The potency is not affected as long as it is kept in the fridge and is not older than six months.
