Why do I need to be a tither to be a part of Helps Ministry?
Tithing is what is used by God to fund the work of the ministry. As a requirement of Helps Ministry, this is simply an extension of the command in the Word of God to give God a tenth of your firstfruit earnings to God. As stated in Leviticus 27:30, the tithe is holy, and this belongs to God. Helps Ministry personnel must set the tone for the rest of the ministry in their obedience to God’s commands. And as a result of this obedience, we believe God’s word to be true when he says in Malachi 3:10 that he will open up the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that there will not be room enough to receive them!
