Why do I need Proviable when there are direct-fed microbials in my pet’s food?
Direct-fed microbials that are supplied in pet foods may or may not be live when ingested by the pet due to the manufacturing processes of the food and therefore may be ineffective. In addition, there may not be sufficient numbers of the direct-fed microbials to elicit a response, and the strains included in the food may not have beneficial properties.
