Why do I need my WestConnect Card to enter the parking garage?
As part of the parking management plan, electronic card-access gates are being installed at each of the Midtown parking garages before and/or during the fall 2006 semester. These gates require you to present your WestConnect Card to the card reader at the gate for the gate to be opened. You must present your card upon entering and leaving the garage. If you do not present your card to exit the garage, you will be denied access the next time you attempt to enter the garage. This system will assist the university with keeping an accurate count of the vehicles in the garage to provide information should the garage be full at any time and provide management of access to the facilities during the hours of parking restrictions.
